Welcome newcomers!
Welcome!
Amando Lasabuda is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Global Postdoc affiliated with the University of Oslo, Norway and the University of Sydney, Australia. He will stay with us at the EarthByte Group for two years. He obtained his MSc from the University of Bergen, Norway and completed his PhD at UiT – The Arctic University of Norway in 2018. Amando was a visiting researcher at the Royal Holloway, University of London, UK last year. His research focuses on the interplay between tectonics and clastic sediment transport and deposition, particularly in the Norwegian Arctic. He explores his curiosity using seismic and well data combined with numerical modelling. He plans to reconstruct the paleo-bathymetry and -topography of the Barents Sea in the Cenozoic and simulate the corresponding sediment source-to-sink. He opens to new collaborations and enjoys chatting over good coffee.
